Being happy at work might sound like quite an ambitious goal - and in a way, it sure is. But it’s not unreachable. Every journey starts with the first step, and the journey to more happiness at work does too.

It might be a seemingly small step at first (even though no step in the right direction is ever truly too small to be taken). A step like acing a presentation you’ve been anxious about. Or it might be getting through an ongoing internal change without suffering from sleepless nights. Or, perhaps, simply figuring out how the hell to organize your calendar in a way that doesn’t leave you drained by the time 5 pm rolls around (or 6 pm, or 7).

But it also might be about more impactful, long-term shifts, like having less stress and more control in your life. Less worry, less overwhelm. A ramp-up to more confidence and more clarity. Having more energy and capacity not just for work, but for your life outside of it.

And maybe you don’t even have a specific goal in mind just yet, you just know that you’re not happy where you are right now - and that you want this to change. And that’s okay. There is a path that starts here, too.

There are three types of 1:1 services that can be your starting point depending on your needs:

  • Deep Dive session - an individual session that meets you where you are and focuses on a specific situation at hand;

  • Hitting Your Goal - a short-term program that focuses on a short to mid-term goal you already have your eyes on;

  • Finding your way - a short to mid-term program that focuses on helping you find more clarity about what goals to pursue and which strategies to apply in order to get you moving towards more happiness at work.

An important note about all 1:1 programs:

While either of the programs can and will support you in improving your performance and efficiency, it is not their primary goal. The primary goal is to help you find your way through whatever challenge you are facing or the change you are aiming for; a way that is unique to you, and one that feels authentic and comfortable in the long run. Once you have it, performance and efficiency will follow.

All 1:1 options and programs are suitable for both individual contributors and leaders, however their focus is on the individual. If your goal is to include your team or organization in the process, please visit the programs for groups & workshops page.

Additionally, please note that the scope of all 1:1 programs is limited to focusing on optimizing and improving the experience at work. Despite considering a holistic view in understanding and assessment of the program participant’s situation and its impact on the participant, none of the 1:1 programs include or substitute therapy or psychological counseling.

Deep dive session

A single session deep dive into a specific situation you are currently (already) in.

In this session, we will focus on your needs, goals, and priorities and defining the possible courses of action for managing the situation at hand towards the best possible outcome and your satisfaction. If the situation has already occurred, we will focus on managing the follow-up.

Suitable for (a non-exhaustive list): an existing challenge at work, an ongoing change you are impacted by, important conversations coming up (e.g. such as an interview or an assignment negotiation)

Typical duration: 60 minutes

Hitting Your Goal

A short-term program helping you to reach a short to mid-term goal you already have your eyes on.

You know where you are and where you want to go - and this program will help you get there. Together, we will break the goal down into actionable steps and identify the skills you need to reach the finish line - and then bring them to the next level.

Suitable for (a non-exhaustive list): strategic skills improvement (e.g. such as communication and expectation setting, organizing and planning your work in a way that better reflects your needs and goals), preparation for or planning of further career development/job change

Typical duration: 4-6 weeks

Finding Your Way

A short to mid-term program helping you to identify and reach a long-term goal that brings you more happiness at work.

You know where you are, and you don’t quite like it - but don’t yet know where to go from here. Perhaps it is just a general sense of dissatisfaction; perhaps getting up and getting ready for work is infused with pure dread. Maybe you're just tired of it all and reminding yourself that it can’t be like this forever. And maybe the only thing you truly know with absolute clarity is that a change is necessary. And that’s okay - we’ll figure out the path ahead together.

Suitable for (a non-exhaustive list): work situation assessment (e.g. how does your current employment meet your needs, reflect your values, and complements your personal life), strategic skills improvement and development (e.g., such as quality communication and expectation setting, organizing your work in a way that better reflects your needs), preparation for or planning of career change

Typical duration: 6-12 weeks
